Loving mother of &nbsp;Grant (Cathy), Greg and Alec. Devoted grandmother of two. Dear sister of Mary MacFadyen of Toronto and predeceased by Jack, Jean and Frances. Anna will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Born to Allan and Ida MacCormack in Halifax, Nova Scotia.&nbsp; Graduated from Dalhousie University in 1953 and also completed training as a ballerina.&nbsp; Had a long career as an actress in Canada on the stage,&nbsp; radio, television, and film.&nbsp; Met Andy Geddes while he was stationed with the Royal Canadian Navy in Halifax and they married in 1957, enjoying a long and loving life together. A devoted daughter of the Church, Anna was a strong supporter of organizations upholding the Faith and family life. The family wishes to thank staff at Stillwater Creek Retirement Community for their affectionate care and attention to Anna. In addition, they extend a special note of appreciation for the fine efforts of the hospital staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 1255 Walkley Rd (East of Bank) Thursday June 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday June 8, to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 1758 Alta Vista Drive for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Donations to the Parkinson&rsquo;s Society of Canada appreciated. </p> </div>
