<div itemprop="description">IOCCA, Cosimo <br><br>With Jesus Christ by his side, our beloved father Cosimo Iocca passed away October 27th, 2016 peacefully at the age of 93 at home with his children by his side. <br><br>He was an incredible and devoted father and will be remembered for his remarkable strength, perseverance, kindness, humour and generosity. Adoring father of Vincenzo, Alessio (Lynne) and Lucia. Predeceased by his loving wife Ginevra, and also predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Anna Iocca; and by his siblings Aurora, Maria, Carmela, Crescenzo, and Sabatino. Survived by his siblings Martire of Buenos Aires, and Giovina Iaderosa of Ottawa. Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law in Argentina. Cosimo will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. <br><br>Our deepest and sincerest gratitude to the wonderful Dr. Coulombe and caring nurses of the St. Elizabeth Health Care Centre and CCAC. Also special thanks to the kind and caring doctors and nurses at the Ottawa General Hospital. <br><br>Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa (613-731-1255) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday, October 31, 2016 to St. Anthony's Church (427 Booth Street) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. <br><br>Only God can make a father with such a loving heart, who always puts his children first, who guides them from the start, believing in them always, and so proud of what they do. Thank heaven there are dads who are as wonderful as you. <br><br>To you we raise a glass of wine papĂ .<br><br></div>
