<div itemprop="description">QUINN, Mary Sheila <br><br>It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother Mary passed away peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her children, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the age of 70. <br><br>Family was always at the centre of Mary's life. For 45 years, she was the cherished wife of the late John Quinn. She was a loving mother to Kathy (Cory Sinclair), Karl (Vanessa Murley), Neil (Erin Casselman), Brenda (Joel Gibbons) and Ryan. Mary was a caring grandmother to Kyle, Cody, Kayla, Jack, Coen, Rhys, Grady, Gavin, Lilah, Miles and Julia. She was a devoted daughter to her late parents, Joseph and Hilary O'Connor, and a dear sister to her brothers Warren, Brian and Gary. <br><br>Mary was an energetic, active person who always contributed much to her community and was a good friend to many. <br><br>Mary fought a long and most courageous battle in the face of debilitating illness. Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff on the 5th floor at The Ottawa Hospital - General Campus. In particular, we would like to thank Chris MacEachern for his wonderful care and support. <br><br>Family and friends are welcome to join us in remembering Mary at Kelly Funeral Home, Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa (613-731-1255) on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A private burial at Hope Cemetery will take place at a later date. <br><br>In memoriam, donations may be made to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.</div>
