Peacefully on Saturday, December 24th at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. Much loved husband and best friend of Anne, for 62 years. Loving father of Daniel (Christine Lalande), and John (Vicki Wells). Loving grandfather of Bryan, Shelby, and Mason. Survived by his brother Ronald of Calgary and is predeceased by his siblings Carl, Howard, Walter, Earl, and Claire (Wen) Shepperd.
Thanks to all the staff who work at the Perley and Rideau, who took the time to make Ossie feel at home and for making his day, especially the staff on Gatineau 2 North for their years of care.
Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa (613-731-1255) on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Capital Cemetery on Friday.
In Memoriam donations to the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
