EASTMAN, Laurie William
Peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital at the age of 72.
Loving father of Cory (Cheryl), Shanna (John Chillcott), Harley, and Jolene. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, C.J., Jordan, and Shyanne. Beloved son of Dorothy and the late William Eastman. Dear brother of Rick (Diane), Stewart, Gary, Marion (Bob), Janice, and Shelia (Phil). He survived by many nieces and nephews and will be remembered by his lifelong friends Bob and Sherry and their children Megan and Ashley. Predeceased by his wife Ruth. Laurie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa (613-731-1255) on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Laurie’s memory.
