<div itemprop="description">O'Connor, Paul Patrick <br> <br>Passed away peacefully in his loving wife's arms on Thursday, December 8th 2016, in Ottawa at the age of 90. Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley O'Connor, his brother John O'Connor, his six children Brian O'Connor, Catherine O'Connor, Deb (O'Connor) Kerr (Allan Kerr), David O'Connor (Edith Ross), Annie O'Connor and Mary (O'Connor) Collins (John Collins). He will be dearly missed by eleven grandchildren Kaitey (O'Connor) Cosgrove (Kevin Cosgrove), Paul and Mary O'Connor Whelan, John and Andrew Whelan, Rob Cudney, Victoria and Michael Kerr, Patrick, Daniel, Emily and Erick O’Connor, and his great-grandson Chancellor Cosgrove. Paul is predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary O'Connor, his brothers Burke and Bill O'Connor and his sister Sheila (O'Connor) Fox. <br> <br>Paul was born on April 28th, 1926 into the Irish community of Quebec City. He was a proud graduate of St. Francis Xavier University. He married the love of his life, Shirley Mae Richardson in 1958. Paul was a devoted husband and loving father, a devout Catholic and a patriotic Canadian. His generous heart touched all who knew him, and continues to inspire us to love one another. <br> <br>Friends may pay respects at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment Hope Cemetery. <br> <br>In Memoriam donations to the Salvation Army Charity Fund appreciated.</div>
