<div itemprop="description">KELLY, Shean Peter Michael (1947-2016) <br> <br>On November 10, 2016 Shean Peter Michael Kelly died peacefully surrounded by his family at May Court Hospice in Ottawa where he joined his Lord and Savior after a short battle with cancer. <br> <br>Mr. Kelly was born September 27th, 1947 in Grandfalls, Newfoundland, the son of the late William James Kelly and Catherine Mary McDonald. He was raised in Grandfalls and was always ready with a story, a joke, or a song from “down home”. He loved his hockey and was a supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved fishing. He was an avid traveller who lived in various parts of Canada including Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Ontario. He was an adventurer and a person of faith. <br> <br>He is predeceased by his brother Brian (Gina), his former partner Cindy Higgins (nee McDonald) and nephew Terry. He is survived by his children Monica Higgins of Ottawa, Ontario, Shean Higgins (Shannon) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kathryn Jettoo (Arvin) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and Laura Kelly of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Grandfather of Nicole Hutzel, Natasha Higgins and Braunson Kelly. His siblings Dennis (Maureen) of Fredericton, New Brunswick, William Sr. (Heather) of Madoc, Ontario, James (Marilyne) of Morrisburg, Ontario, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) of Sarnia, Ontario, Catherine Martell (Joseph) of Ottawa, Ontario, Neil (Patricia) of Sarnia, Ontario, and Kevin (Sylvie) of Ottawa, Ontario. He is also survived by his former wife Alice Kelly (nee Klassen) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He was the beloved Uncle of Paul, Rob, Kim, William, Jennifer, Angela, Tanya, Mark, Andrea, Daniel, Misty, Amanda, Chantal, Luc, and Denise. <br> <br>A private burial will be held at Hope Cemetery, Ottawa. Family will gather after the funeral for a private Celebration of Life. In memoriam the family requests that donations may be made to Hospice Care Ottawa, in lieu of flowers.</div>
